Private Voice Lessons

Instructors:  Agnes McCarthy, Ryan Mauro Keiko Larocque (online) & Darielle Chomyn (online)

voiceOur instructors bring an expert approach to training singers of all ages and abilities in classical and popular music styles.  Lessons will include regular focus on the technical aspects of singing while respecting the individual needs of each and every singer young or old, beginner or advanced.   Instruction includes performance opportunities throughout the year in recitals and online events.

A typical private voice lesson includes some or all of the following

  • repertoire
  • technical exercises
  • rhythm exercises
  • sight & ear training
  • music theory

Our instructors have extensive experience in Royal Conservatory of Music and Conservatory Canada curriculum. If desired, voice students can receive expert exam preparation. Many of our NAA students have won medals of excellence in both in both exam systems!

NAA students have regularly pursued  professional careers in vocal performance, received acceptance into prestigious University Music Programs at the Graduate and Undergraduate levels across Canada and the U.S. as well as School Music positions across Canada. Others have developed a lifetime love of singing and performing (despite other career choices) that make them core participants in many community musical groups.

Lessons are available in 30, 45 or 60 minute slots. Your instructor can advise you on what time frame will best meet your needs.

Please note lessons with Keiko Larocque and Darielle Chomyn will be online for the full year.
