Online Triple Threat Musical Theatre Training Programs


Instructors:  Agnes McCarthy (Voice) & Skye Smith (Movement and Acting)

We offer comprehensive group instruction in Musical Theatre training which includes Singing, Movement and Acting for children and teens ages 5–18.  Skye Smith (Acting and Movement Instructor) and Agnes McCarthy (Vocal Instructor) will co-teach these classes.  Each level will include 24 weeks of instruction and also feature mid-year and end-of-year performances. 

To accomodate effective online learning, enrolment for all Triple Threat classes are capped at 8 participants. Register early to avoid disappointment!

Primary Voice/Acting/Movement Class
Age 5-8  

Saturdays 10:00AM-11:00AM        

This is a fun class and a great preparation for any young performer’s involvement in Musical Theatre.   Students are introduced to the basic elements of singing and musicianship through work in rhythm, pitch matching and music reading through games and other group musical activities.  Primary performers also learn basic dance, movement and acting techniques.  With a focus on treating performing as a discipline, young and aspiring entertainers learn how to prepare for performance and have fun at the same time!  



Intermediate Voice/Acting/Movement Class
Age 9-12

Saturdays 11:00AM-12:15PM

Students train and perform a variety of musical theatre songs in Unison and part singing and will learn to communicate stories through movement.  Basics of vocal technique, diction, tuning and breathing work essential for participation in Musical Theatre will be explored in a fun and supportive atmosphere.  With an equal focus on singing, movement and acting young performers begin to develop discipline and stage presence.



Senior Voice /Acting/Movement Class
Age 13-18

Saturdays 12:15PM-1:30PM

Students will develop a keen sense of self and understanding of how to treat body and mind as an instrument.  They learn to work in a professional and safe space and will train and perform a variety of songs from traditional and contemporary musical theatre repertoire in unison and 2 parts or more.  Advanced technique in vocal production, diction, breathing, and body alignment will also be covered.
